Default Adding MANUFACTURER to the Invoice PDF...

I know it needs to be added to orders.php and/or invoices.php in the /admin, but I haven't time to dig it out and was hoping someone had already done it but forgot to post it here...

Essentially it would help with the Invoice PDF if you have it listed more like:

Quantity | Product Name | Part Number/SKU | Manufacturer | then the price/tax stuff... (The titles could be shortened - eg Quantity to '#', Manufacturer to 'Man.' etc.

I suspect the field size for Product_Name may be part of the problem, but could that not be truncated for the invoice?

I'll putter away at this over the next few weeks (perhaps), but...

That's an unusual request, to display the manufacturer. Good luck, as EasyPDF ain't so easy, IME.

One of my employees asked for it as we have many manufacturers products and the invoice only shows the part number and name right now. He has to pull up the item to figure out which area of our parts department it is in and figures that is a poor use of his time...
I had heard the EasyPDF was a pain...
    Thanks!

Now that puts a different complexion on things..
I have a mod. in production, that adds a location purely to assist in warehousing/parts bin etc. I know that my clients have found it very useful. Can't remember offhand whether it's on a packing(/picking) slip or invoice.
I'll see if I can dig it out later.

Note for others, this will not be a public release at this point in time.

Yup, it's a location that is shown on the packing/picking slip. I didn't see point of the customer knowing where you store your products (behind the loo ).
It's based on an osCommerce contrib. and I've added EasyPopulate functionality, so that you can quickly 'mark' all your products, once you've tested a few.
Zipped up now, ready to send but you'll need to file compare with the existing installation.
