    Default wysiwyg disappeared

    My client is using a way old version of oscmax 2.0 but it works fine, she was happy until just recently the wysiwyg disappeared site wide.

    I've checked in multiple browsers and its simply just vanished.

    I checked the settings in configuration and everything is enabled.

    Any ideas?

    Yes I tried chrome ie and firefox and its simply just not there.

    All that is seen is a text box with the content inside.

    no I am not. There is no editor to click.

    I have viewed the source and there isn't any evidence of the wsywig even being called.

    The site has not been updated though, not for a long long time.

    the head doesn't even call any js, just one css file.

    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <title>osCMax v2.0</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/stylesheet.css">
    </head>

    I had a look in admin define main page and this is what's there.

    <tr>
    <td class="main"><?php if (HTML_AREA_WYSIWYG_DISABLE_DEFINE == 'Enable') {
    echo tep_draw_fckeditor('file_contents', '690', '800', $file_contents, (($file_writeable) ? '' : 'readonly')) . '</td>';
    } else { echo tep_draw_textarea_field('file_contents', 'soft', '100%', '30', $file_contents, (($file_writeable) ? '' : 'readonly')) . '</td>';
    }
    ?>
    </tr>

    Any chance her web hosting company upgraded to a more recent version of PHP than the old code was optimized for?

    Oh that could be a possibility JRR, thank you. i never thought of that being an issue. I will pass that on as I don't host this particular site.
