I'm still trying to figure out how to set the tax rate for ALL products (over 75 in the cart) at once via the database. Someone mentioned that i need to set to Number 1 a column in my csv file for the field "products_tax_class_id". Can anyone tell me what in the world my csv file is? I've never tried anything like this before with a database.....

Please help the NEWBIE!

Thanks,
pete

CSV = Comma Separated Value text file

What you do is export your table to a CSV file using phpmyadmin, then, you can open that CSV file in Excel or other spreadsheet software, and edit the data that way.

Then you save the file, and re-import it using phpmyadmin.

you know what i did instead???

i went to phpMyAdmin and did a query to UPDATE the products_tax_class_id to number 1 and that took care of the whole thing.

thanks for the help.
