View Full Version : Adding fields to new customers section

Hello Again,

After doing a lot of searching I'm coming back here. In the admin section, where you can add a new customer, I want to be able to enter multiple contacts and a billing & shipping address to a single entry. Most of the customers this site will be dealing with are companies that need separate information for warehouse and accounting.

So can you add these fields, and is there a thread out there already that covers this topic!

Easiest way would be to use the "Phone" order functionality and simply create the account through the store rather than the admin panel.

Then you can add the additional addresses through the "My Account" section. (Or you can simply get your customers to do it).

There is also an osCommerce mod for this: osCommerce Community Add-Ons (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6323)

If you post in the bugtracker as a Feature Request I am sure this will get merged into the core as it seems to be a perfectly sensible thing to have!
