I am using a Joomla site (J1.7) and want a shopping cart. I have looked at several options and would like to use OsCmax because how clean it looks. Here is the issue, I am using a "bridge" called Jfusion and want to disable registration and log in screens because the user will be authenticated in Joomla using Jfusion. Is there a way to disable to the Login and Registration in OsCmax? I do not ship product because they are downloads so addresses are not important and all check outs are going to be going through PayPal.
I currently don't have OsCmax installed yet.

Your question is rather open ended - which is probably the reason why you are still waiting! Almost anything is possible but these forums tend to be for specific questions and answer style issues.

All the same, I would recommend that rather than disabling the login/registration process you may find it much easier to simply create a single login process ... using the same database table for both sites ... now this will require quite a bit of tinkering with the PHP of osCmax. So, the question is how adept are you at PHP and MySQL?

If you have no programming experience then I would recommend using a site like Freelancer (http://www.freelancer.com/) to get someone to quote to do this. I am fairly sure there are no off the shelf solutions to do this with osCmax.

I know it can be done as I believe this site has done it - Lindisfarne Scriptorium | Welcome to our website, please allow us to introduce ourselves... (http://www.lindisfarne-scriptorium.co.uk/) - It might be worth sending them a quick message to ask about the joomla integration.

Regards.

I am using a 3rd party peice of software calll jfusion (http://www.jfusion.org/) to bridge joomla and OSc and in order to work correctly I would like to disable the registration.
