Hello,

After repeatedly chmod /catalog/includes/configure.php to 644, I'm still getting this top page error message:

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /var/www/html/ca/camdenboatworks.com/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

I've used 2 ftp programs, even download/uploaded from my desktop.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Greg

Windows HOST? Chmod does not work. As your host to mark the file as read only.

Else - Often it is a cache thing... If it does not clear up by the next day - then turn off the checking....

In /var/www/html/ca/camdenboatworks.com/catalog/includes/application_top.php - near the bottom of the file look for:

define('WARN_CONFIG_WRITEABLE', 'true');

change to:

define('WARN_CONFIG_WRITEABLE', 'false');

Good Luck!
