need help changing lbs to kg on checkout

hi can someone point me in the right direction.
the lbs to kg update from admin does not change the displayed weight in checkout.

I believe i need to change the variable MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_TEXT_UNITS which is in the zones php but I can't see where this is defined.
