Show products in categories with child categories

Hi all,

does anybody knows how to show all the products of the children categories of a category that has no products but its children categories do have?

I mean, we have one category with no products but with two children categories. These two children categories have several products. I would want that when you click in the parent category in the categories infobox, all these products are shown.

When you have nested categories with no products the system shows the index_nested.tpl.php so do you want to show the links to the categories OR the products OR both?

I would like to show only the products. I am hacking index.php page, but I think if there is an easier way to do this.

I am thinking about this issue and I have realizaed that it would be a good add-on to oscmax if you could choose to show child categories, products or both things in the categories pages.

Finally I hacked index.php. If you consider that it would be a good add-on to oscmax if you could choose to show child categories, products or both things in the categories pages, let me know and I will post a feature request in bugtracker. I think it would be a good thing.

Please post in the bug tracker as a feature for v2.6 and we will review ... I think it would be a nice feature as well.
