Me, too. Arrgh, there's so many things you have to do to make this software even begin to work... I've been wrestling with it for almost a year now. It is the least functional thing on any of the seven websites I run. I know, I know, this is a free forum, open source software, etc etc etc. I'm just venting. And it's true, this is the buggiest software I've ever used for any length of time.

Arrgh, please remember that osCMax 2 is BETA software and has not been certified bug free, or even close. It is a release candidate, which means that there are a few kinks left that need to be sorted out. By the way, do you run a Windows computer? Then you have used something that is more buggy than osCMax for longer...

Thank you msasek. I love oscmax and have tried many other carts and oscm 2 appears to be great but can you help me find a work around for the problems of a conflict between fixing the return address of paypal creating a curl problem with authorizenet. I would like to use both again, Thanks, John

OK I found a work around that appears to work in my store!!! I installed the simple contribution from here:

I had to make a few changes in catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/paypal.php to suit my site and set the fee charge to 1.00 so it did not add a fee but it appears to allow my customers to pay with paypal and my authorizenet module also appears to work.

I am sure that there are other ways to do this but this worked for me - I hope.

I'm chiming in kinda late in this thread, but...

Which version (if any) of Ultimate SEO Urls are you guys using? I started losing Order Process emails when I upgraded to Ultimate SEO Urls 2.1d - had to revert to 2.1c. I've posted previously (as have a few others) on oscommerce.com about Chemo's contribution working with Paypal_IPN but have not yet seen a solution...

We had the problem before and after installing Ultimate SEOs.

Our problem started when we added Authorize.net. Now, with the both the return link from PayPal and the money order/check payment options, we get the error mentioned in the original posting.

do you have to have:

Enable Encrypted Web Payments set to true, and create a private key for the paypal ipn to work properly?

Anyone ever find a workign solution to the authorizenet and paypal problem with the checkout_process??? My customers still get no confirmatoin of their order when useing paypal, and it even shows they have not been noified there order status. It is a problem with checkout_process, cause if I change the code and paypal sends emails, then authorizenet give mey the curl error.
Please post if there is a working fix that works with both paypal and authoriznet.

we get the same error but don't have the Lines in the right place:
line 53 is '$order_totals = $order_total_modules->process();'

line 65 is '$payment_modules->before_process();'
the only insert.

What can i do to fix this?
