Default New osCMax update install and PayPal Pro configuration Issues

Just completed clean install of osCMax from the update that just came out, as well as the 1.1 HTML to BTS template modifications. All seems well going into the PayPal Pro (US) test. I have a sandbox of course with buyer and seller accounts.

When I get to the checkout page when it ask for payment method and to confirm the billing address the system will go no further. I can change the address and it doesn't move forward. I can choose PayPal Express of Debit/Credit and it does not move forward. Each click refreshes the page.

Any ideas on what I can try would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Cheers,
    William

I got a step further by creating a new user account after going over all the post for the past five years on this form. I also copy and pasted the fallback checkout_payment.php to my templates checkout_payment.php page. There were a lot differences and Michael helped me fix an issue I had earlier by doing this.

I was able to get to the next page where you confirm all of the inputed information. When I click on the submit button on this page, it goes back to my cart contents page.

I basically end up going in a big circle. At no time does it seem to send information to paypal.

If you can help me from this point, it is appreciated in advance.

    Thank you.

    Cheers,
    William

1.1 HTML to BTS template modifications
Why, when both 2.0.15 & 2.0.25 came out AFTER that was released?

Okay, so I switched the template back to aabox, just because that should be the default where everything works fine. When I do that and go through the process I get the error right after the confirm button page that says at the top of the screen "Security header is not valid" on the next page which ends up being where I started.

Can anyone give me an idea on how to correct the security header so that this can work. Does it relate to SSL, or htaccess file or something internal to the osCmax code. Thank you for your time.

    Cheers,
    William

Actually, the default is "fallback" not aabox.

You should do all your base testing with fallback.

As for the paypal pro issue, Let me google that for you

Okay, will switch to fallback. Thank you.

As far as the security error. It still comes up even on the fallback template.

Paypal General API errors says that it's

error # 10008 Security error - Security header is not valid

I still don't know what that means in accordance to osCmax. Thanks again Michael.

    Cheers.

Also, see the link in Admin for that Paypal payment type, for more info.

    Let's try being less subtle....
