Been having a quick look at this ...
Not got very far ... I really don't understand why PayPal have to make things so complicated ... they have so many different products and the explaination of what needs to be done is useless.
Link to sign up page is here but there is no explaination of the process nor how to implement the required changes - they are here (page 121) - but testing must be done on the cardinal servers ...
I simply do not think PayPal recognise how complex their product set is ... inclinded to switch to google checkout ...
Anyway, apologies, rant over ...

New mod at the mothership for this - althoug it sounds like it might conflict with a few other modules.

Yep, noticed that one (and downloaded). It ties you to a company called Cardinal - would think that's kinda restrictive, in that a choice of 3rd party processor would be preferable. (actually none at all would be even better - talk about XSS) Also, no reference to costs involved on their website. Hmmm.

I think PayPal have contracted Cardinal to handle the 3d secure bit for them.
Hopefully there won't be any further charges ... but you never know.

Cursory glance at instructions ...
Err ... Why would we want to turn register_globals back on?You will need to turn on register_globals and enable the MySQL extension in php.ini, at a minimum.
