PayPal standard: Refund / IPN issue

OK, I'm actually trying to get started. I had a buyer purchase an item, but then I had to send a refund. Here's what the status now says on the OSCMax order:

PayPal IPN Verified [Refunded (; $-23.27); refund; PayPal transaction value (-23.27) does not match order value (23.27)]

I'm not sure why this says IPN Verifed when I am not using that module. I am using PayPal Standard.

Obviously, the amount of the refund was equal to the amount of the sale price, so I am not sure why I am getting this error anyway.

Please suggest a solution!

I think data passed need to be fixed so that should be

PayPal IPN Verified [Refunded (; $-23.27); refund; PayPal transaction value (23.27);matches order value (23.27)]

As your original "PayPal transaction value" and "order value" is off by $46.54

OK. I see what you are saying, but I don't know how to fix data passed. I know the amount refunded from PayPal was correct.
