| First time building a osC site and I'm wondering how I should integrate PayPal into the site. As far as I understand there are 2 ways to do it. You can have the shopper leave to go to the payPal site and finish the transaction or you can integrate payPal into the site so the entire process is done on the osC site. Is that right? What are the costs associated with having payPal integrated into the site? Do you have to pay $30/month and get a PayPal pro account to do that? If I start out with the first option of having customers leave the site, can I change to the other method later without much trouble? Rick |

| Rick, Those are two separate modules, and the answer is yes it can be done. To start, you can use the Paypal IPN, which comes already in the osCMax package. The later step requires the integration of the Paypal WPP module, which is available at osCommerce: PayPal Pro Direct Payments & Express Checkout. This is not a drop in module, but is already packaged and shown in this thread: Paypal WPP conflicting with PWA?. Good luck. |
