Default Table Rate Setting?

Hi,

I stil can't figure out how does ths work on setting up the table rate for shipping which is default module in OSC.

it said" The shipping cost is based on the total cost or weight of items. Example: 25:8.50,50:5.50,etc.. Up to 25 charge 8.50, from there to 50 charge 5.50, etc"

What is that mean? I have test this in mayny ways but still can't get it right.

If you're expert on this please help.

I need to make it work for the following.
First 30g $5.3
each 10g additonal $1.3

What should I enter there? Thanks

What it means is:

25:8.50

For anything up to 25, charge 8.50 in shipping.

Now just set it for how you want it.

ie : 30:5.30,40:6.60,50:7.90

and so on...

Thank you.

My item weight is up to 5000 and each 10g is additional $1.30. I'm sure this take the rest of my life to type it in. Is there any faster way? thanks
