Default hi new to the board and complete newbie

hi
i have been trying to use osc for over a week now.
i am a absolute novice and im still cant post for support on the osc cupport forum im getting really frustrated
i purchased a site from dot5 and it came bundled with osc so i dont need to upload it
problemis i dont know how to edit anything in the file manager stylesheet chmod all a mystery to me. i downloaded the basic pink template for free and installed filezilla to upload it have put it in configure file dunno y was just sick of searchingfor the answers i couldnt find anyway my site is still blue so its not working
so please anyadvice for me would be very much appreciated

Well - Welcome! We all had to start some where with OSC.

Sorry to hear you had problems on the other site. Here is not traveled as much but we try to help not hinder like they do. Post away.

If you installed Filezilla and is working then you could edit the files on your local PC and FTP it with Filezilla to your site. As editing file thought the file manager - click on the file directory/file to select - again to open that directory/file to edit then click - a live text editor will come on online.

If your SURE you uploaded the template properly - could be a cache - brower/website/ISP. Turn off caching on your site, clear out your cache in your browser, - if ISP is caching then browing around other sites and try in 15 or so mins.
