organizing display of product attributes/options

I've got osc installed and am working on building a store for my site. However, I'm having a problem organizing the display of my production options. I am looking for some type of logic in how the program handles displaying options/values (in terms of order) and can't seem to find any.

I tried using the ID number and having them either sort ascending or descending, but that didn't work. I tried having it sort simply by the order that I entered things, but that didn't work either. I am so frustrated.
It works with one product, but as soon as I start adding more products things start getting out of order.

Any suggestions?

yeah I tried the attributes copier and it seemed to work but there are complications such as header logo issues and the copier part gives you an error like

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_copy_products_attributes() in /home/site/public_html/admin/categories.php on line 201"

I had to restore my database and some files. We need a speacial version of attributes copier for MS2-MAX
