| I changed the color of my background but it made the background of the site as well as the store the same color. I want to have the "store" table which is centered be white while having the background a separate color -kind of like the store table is "floating" above the background color. If that makes sense...sorry don't know the terminology all too well. Also, I entered a .fixcenter command in the stylesheet file but since I had already changed manually the table settings in the individual files -should I go back and change them to what they originally were? I guess overall I'm trying to get a centered store, with a small border around it with a white background to the store -then have a diff. color background to the whole site. Any thoughts????? |

| Link please? You can center the page many different ways. Since you modified the tables, there is no reason to also modify the css. Either way works. To change the table style to be a different color than the background, you can either load a colored image as the table background or you can simply create a new style for the table in stylesheet.css with a different color, then modify main_page.tpl.php to use the new style.

| Did you want the link to my site? Handmade jewelry, earrings, necklaces in Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, sterling silver, 14k gold by CRYSTAL ALLURE CREATIONS & JEWELRY I actually got the store background white, a border around it...now I just have to figure out how to center the darn thing. I've tried a few different things but it still aligns left. I did the fixcenter to move the bodywidth contol to the stylesheet for easier manageability. |

| Your site is centered when I visit it.

| yes, you must have clicked on it after I finally figured out how to do it. sorry about that. I actually ended up using a skin provided under the contributions and everything is working but I can't seem to get the footer to show my links in white. I've tried changing different things in the coding but it still shows as black. Any thoughts? |
