I've got osc installed on my localhost test server and want to follow the account signup process through to check through all the pages on the way. I get the following error message (below) - because i the sites not live and it cant deliver the email...i just want to get past this page for testing purposes...what email address could i use...i tried root@localhost but it didnt like that ...

Any ideas?

Just disable email functions in the admin, that way osCommerce will not attempt to send email.

There are a lot of features, it is easy to miss something. I do it all the time
