Default Show subcategories when selecting main categories

Hi, please take a look at my site D7 Recruitment
When you click on any main category, try Admin & Secretarial, the display comes up blank - of course as all the entries are in the subcategories.

How do I get the subcategories to show up when the main category is selected, like this site does NightFire Electronic Kits : NightFire Electronics

Default Re: Show subcategories when selecting main categories

The example site does not show the products in the subcategories or subcategories on the product listing pages. It just shows the products in the current selected category.

I am not sure about standard osCommerce, but in osCMax, if you have an empty category with subcategories, it will display links to the subcategories on the main page.

If you add a product to your top level category, it will display like the example site you posted.

I don't actually want the products to appear but just the links to the subcategories i.e. Full Time, Part Time, Contract & Temp

Default Re: Show subcategories when selecting main categories

Yes, I do not think osCommerce standard version does that. I could be wrong, but I only have an osCMax test store to compare against. Maybe another standard osC user will be able to confirm this function.

Make sure you don't have any products in the top level categories, even if they are disabled, otheriwse the links will not show.
