| I have been getting about 100 a day spamed emails that are originating in the "submit a Link" area from my site. This is crowding up my links admin area and my mailbox. How do I stop this and does anyone else have this problem? Thanks |

| Everyone on the internet has this problem... spambots. You need to look through your logs, find the spambot and ban it using .htaccess rules. Once you find out the actual spambot, come back and we can make a rewrite rule for it...

| Thanks for your help. But am unsure where to look for the logs you mention. In admin I have a logging directory destination. The path is a defaut path I never changed, (/var/log/www/tep/page_parse_time.log) and seems to be pointing to a path that I can not even find in any of my directories. Is this where you are talking about? Thanks |

| Not osCMax logs, server logs... You will have to look at the web server logs to find the user agent you need to block.
