    Default Adding Payment Modules

How do you activate payment modules? There appears to be modules .php files for authorize.net, 2checkout, etc....but in the admin section those services are not active. I've tried to look in the OSdox Documentation Project, but didn't or couldn't find that area.

    Please help!

In your admin section, click on the Modules link. Then click on the Payment link. You should see a list of payment modules. Simply click the green light next to the module you want to activate. Next, fill in the info in the box to the right of the module you just activated.

You either code one yourself, find a contribution over at oscommerce.com, download it and follow the installation instructions, or pay someone to write it for you.

Default Custom Store Credit Card Module

My client has an inhouse store credit card and wants to be able to support online purchases with this card. I've tried customzing the standard 'cc' module, but ran into a lot of problems. (The store cc doesn't require expiration date, special combination of numbers, etc--all it requires is a name and 8 random digits).

We've also tried building a custom module to support the store credit card, giving the customer the choice between the two payment methods (mastercard/visa/american express or store credit card), but everytime this module is activated, it disables the standard cc module--the standard module is still there as an option, but upon 'confirmation' during checkout, it spits out 'length' errors. During this time the custom store module works fine, but the standard cc module has the error.

Anyway...i'm looking for someone that may have crossed this bridge before. All authentication is done in house, so I don't need to authorize anything live--just simply place the info in the database for retrieval on the admin.

    Any thoughts?

Default More payment module addition questions

I'm also having problems, but this is in adding a contributed payment module for
Verisign Payflow Link. I get the Admin pages to correctly identify the presence of
the module, and can enable and edit the settings. However, the module does not show
up in the options during checkout in the catalog. This is using the 2.2CVS from the
    week of Jan 16, 2003.

Is there some other step that I'm missing? I'm very much a beginner at osCommerce,
but I know my way around php pretty well.
