Default Places to Start for Newbee

Hello!

I just registered with OSCdox, and I might add, made my $1 donation vial PayPal

Before asking my question, I'll start with an initial contribution. In trying to get up to speed on how to tailor/modify OSCommerce, I have found the following resources to be of use:

1. The OSCdox Guide at:

http://guide.oscdox.com/

2. The FAQ at:

http://support.total1.net/faq/create...oscommerce.htm

3. The tutorial at:

http://www.matrixreseller.com/suppor...oscommerce.php

4. And last but not least, this forum!

These all make distinct and overlapping contributions to the that "250 page textbook" that contains it all. Does anyone know if something like this is in the works? How about some sort of training class for that impatient newbee that wants a jumpstart? Maybe online training (e.g., via NetMeeting), formal training?

The FAQ available at:

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/faq,5

seems sparse. Does anyone know if there are plans to expand this?

Well, I hope this post results in some further thoughts for me and the rest of the OSCommerce community.

I am on board!

Jack K
