It is done with images (.gif) within borders around the table.....using the cell "background" attribute for the bottom and side, and the corners use <img src"..> tags

http://www.geraeteland.de/shop/catal...infobox/oh.gif is an example....but make your own colors and effects.

    hello Working-Overtime,
i read your post and quite amazingly u r the only one who seems to know about shadow boxes.
however, as i am new to this, i would like to know if you be more explicit about to do it please? sorry if that might take a lot of your time but i've been looking for a solution to that for quite a while and don't seem to get anywhere. i hope you'll understand.
    many thanks.

You could have use BTS and added them your self - or if you want a bit more earier approch....

    Look at:
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1680

    Infobox Skin Manager 2.0

This contribution allows you to easily change the look of your infoboxes by "wrapping" them in a sliced up graphic. All you have to do is draw one infobox template, save it as a JPEG, upload it and the script does the rest!

A small library of example infobox skins is included with this contrib to get you started.

You must have gdlib2 installed on your server for this script to work.

    or:
    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1702
    Graphical Boxes

This contribution wraps a graphical box around all infoboxes, content boxes and product listing boxes as well as the 37 other files that display content in the center column.

Infoboxes will be wrapped automatically. All others may be turned on or off individually.
Gif files are used to allow transparency. Repeating patterns are supported on all sides.
A sample set of images and the .psd file to create them are included with this package.
An additional set of functions are defined in mws_functions.php that allow you to create additional boxes.

Like all other contributions - they have to be converted to BTS format first.

Many files in BTS have been split in two - to make it easer to separtate HTML and the CORE php code. Thus a file index.php is much smaller - but the bulk of the HTML resides in index.tpl.php which can be modied in ANY html editor (including WYSIWYG types).

Thus if you add this contribution - you have to carfully add it in line by line - if the "old" code does not exist then more than likely it is moved to a simular file name but ending in .tpl.php in the templates directory.
