Need Help setting up Price Based Multi-Zone Shipping Rates

Hello. I have been using OSMAX for some time now and I have one client I am building a site for who naturally needs everything customized more that a straight out of the box package.

I am trying to set up the Shipping Zones (which I have figured out thanks to all the wonderful posts referencing the notes in the actual file) but my problem is that the rates are all based off of weight. Is there some way to change that to be price instead. (Perhaps in the next version we can have that option the same way the table rates are set up).

I have been searching the forum all morning and have not seen this question answered (I have seen it asked a few times though) but if I have missed the thread please direct me to it.

I was struggling with the same issue until it dawned on me that I can just set the weights to correspond to the product prices and I will get the same result. Of course this will only work if you don't need to use weights for any other shipping module you use....
