    Default Master Password

I was looking for a contribution to have a master password on our OSC Site (to be able to login to customers accounts with one password to help with ordering problems) and I found 3 of them. Has anyone used any of them and does anyone suggest one out of the three over the others? Thanks alot!

Yes I have used them with MAX 1.7 before (2.0 is not that diffent). Which one - not sure - but it was not hard to add or use. Was very helpfull.

Sorry I can't help much more than that.

    Default RE: Master Password

It looks like I may not need this with OSCMAX. It seems that I can go into orders and/or accounts and edit them. Am I correct?

    Talking Re: Master Password

Hey, I installed the Master Password 1.0 in about 15 minutes and it worked great! This solves many problems simultaneously.

In order to install, I had to figure out how to execute SQL commands from within phpMyAdmin, which I'd never done. I found that there's this little icon top left that links to the "Query Window." That's the place to enter the command that the installation instructions talk about.

Also, the command asks to insert an entry under configuration_id '188.' It ends up there was already a 188. So instead, I changed that in the command syntax to '9999' and it worked like a charm. Everyone should do this for their store!

    Thanks a heap,

    Cool Re: Master Password

You can edit orders from within the admin, but you can't create new orders with any sort of live credit card processing, and you certainly can't seem to hook the orders to downloadable products (the order goes through, but the download process isn't triggered).
