Diff. Style for Left & Right boxes

Hi,

I have two different setups for the boxes on the left and the boxes on the right. Aside from the colors being different, the left will use a table with 3 rows and 1 column, with an image on the first and last row and the content in the middle. On the right, I plan to have a table with 2 rows and and 1 column, with an image on the first column(different than the left side) and the content in the second.

Any advice on how to do this? To make things less confusing, here is a picture of what I intend:

You will need to make the changes in column_left.php and column_right.php in the catalog/includes directory.
