Categorie Question how to show...

Hey you wizards plz help me with te following :

How can i disable the function that wil show al the categorie pictures in the middle frame after i klicked the name 'categories'

If people klick categorie i only want to show the sub categorie and NOT the pictures in the middle of your screen like CD-ROM wit h a picture attached to it ..i want to leave that space for the welcome screen and after that i want the welcome screen to go away if the customerklicks a subcategorie

i can't find it ( if you still don't get it what i mean plz ask i will try to make it clearer but it's hard )

you can take blank images (size 1x1 pixel) for the (sub)categories pictures
