Currency to PayPal

My osCommerce is configured with USD as default currency but I also offer CAD for Canadian customers but when they checkout to PayPal, osCommerce and/or PayPal converts the currency to USD.

Is this a PayPal issue or can osCommerce be modded to pass along the correct currency to PayPal? I'm not using IPN by the way, just the default PayPal module that came with osCOmmerce.

I believe that you have to set up PayPal to use the different currency. I am not 100% sure about this. I would suggest trying to set up the different currencies at Paypal.
