Displaying less products on front page

I have looked and looked and I can't find it, I'm sure its somewhere but I'm blind today.

Where do I change the number items that is displayed on the front page under "New Products for March"

Actually, the instrucitons you gave us would limit the number of products on the new products page, not the first page.

Could you help us with limiting the number of new products shown in the first page? I currently have 9 and would like to set it down to 6...

Actually, we need to change the value in the "new products module", on the same place you mentioned. Thanks a bunch! Your reply led me to the right place.
