Default Experiencing a couple of new problems ????

    Hi All

Firstly my host decided to move my account to a new server and since then I have been having problems with my Oscommerce site, if anyone can help with either of the following problems it would be much appreciated:

1st, I get this message when I first go into my catalogs page at the top in red:

Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /home/virtual/site27/fst/var/www/html/oscommerce/images/

Then when I try to add an image I get this:

    Error: Destination does not exist.

Yet on my site all images are still there, its just new images I cant seem to add.

2nd, When I go into Easy Populate and try and upload a new range of products I received the following message:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/virtual/site27/fst/var/www/html/oscommerce/temp/Battlefield Miniatures.txt) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/milmod/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/milmod/public_html/oscommerce/admin/easypopulate_functions.php on line 32

    File uploaded.
    Temporary filename: /tmp/phptmG4Db
    User filename: Battlefield Miniatures.txt
    Size: 176828

Warning: file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/virtual/site27/fst/var/www/html/oscommerce/temp/Battlefield Miniatures.txt) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/milmod/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/milmod/public_html/oscommerce/admin/easypopulate.php on line 657

Warning: file(/home/virtual/site27/fst/var/www/html/oscommerce/temp/Battlefield Miniatures.txt): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /home/milmod/public_html/oscommerce/admin/easypopulate.php on line 657

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/milmod/public_html/oscommerce/admin/easypopulate.php on line 680

Any help is better than no help, so I will appreciate any advice given.

Thanks for taking the time to read through my questions.

    David

Default RE: Experiencing a couple of new problems ????

Did you leave all your path settings the same in your osc configuration, it seems like it is looking to the worng path. Make sure everypath matches with your new servers' directory structure.

As for that upload, it looks like you have a permission/ownership issue, or again the path is different, or the file is not even being uploaded to its destination. Check with your hosting service about ownership, sometimes if the folder you are trying to upload to is created by the FTP user, your script will not be able to make modifications to that folders contents. You could always temporarily change your folder permissions to 777 and havea script create your upload folder, then you should be good to go. Remember to change your permissions back to from 777 to what ever they were.
