The cart I'm creating is for a local tv show that sells certificates for local restaurants and entertainment and I need to configure it to limit the buyer to one purchase per certificate per houshold per week. Is this at all possible?
Not impossable - but hard! I can't find a base on an exisitng contributution to start with but it will have to be CUSTOM PROGRAMED for this purpose.
First of all you have SOME how track the ADDRESS/ZIP plus ITEM CODE plus DATE for each sell and then when some one ADDS to there cart you have to search and see if this item has been purchased by this address/zip before and if allowed again etc.... This would also assume that you have to be login in or to verify that people who are unlogin but already added in items to there carts are veirifed when they do login.
Is it possable yes. Has it been done - maybe. Is the code posted - NO.
Possably private message RED FRAGGLE or post at RENT-A-CODER to get some one to code one for you...
