Default Getting rid of shipping

Hi,

I'm developing a store for a company that ships about 95% of it's products to the USA (from Ireland) and as such includes the cost of shipping directly into the cost of the product.

Therefore, we don't have any shipping options and all the shipping costs are set to "0.00".

How would I go about skipping the section to select shipping method?

Cheers,
Damien

Try setting the product weight to 0 and in admin, disable all shipping modules...

Michael,

I have found that when the product weight is 0 then you cannot get past choosing a payment method, I don't know why the two are related since software has 0 weight as do services...

Doug,

I have no problem in my shopping carts when setting the shipping weight to 0 in MS1, but it didnt work in older CVS versions. It checks out just fine, but in order to get rid of shipping options showing up, just disable all the shipping modules, and the problem is solved, of course this will not work if you are not using MS1

Hi guys,

Can you clarify what you mean by "MS1"?

Cheers!

MS1 is the MileStone 1 Release version of osCommerce. That is the most current stable release of Version 2.2.
