Default Products Name Length -- Please Help.

The name of the products I wish to display are being cut off, there must be a maximum of 65 characters set somehwere. I just need to be pointed in the right direction. Ive looked up and down the the catalog/product info.php file, I cant seem to find anything in there that looks like it would set the products name length.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks so much.

Mark

Default RE: Products Name Length -- Please Help.

You must change the field length in the database. This is not set in any of the code.

well first of all you have a database(as you know, I hope) most host's give you a program called phpMyAdmin. Check your host's doc's and where it is and how to log in. Once you log in you want to go to click on the neame of your database in the drop down menu on the left hand side. Then on the left, click on the "products_description " table. In the middle now you will see all of the tables listed. Click on the products_name table, then click the pencil(edit). in the "Length/Values*" field type a larger # . I have mine set to 100. and thdere ya go no more cut offs. I have done this to many of my fields in the database.

Hope this helps
