can't checkout of store

hi
i'm like 90% done with my site but when i installed paypal just to test checking out of my store, it wont let me checkout with any items in my shopping cart.
when i click checkout it will either do 1 of these 2 things:

go to the,WELCOME PLEASE SIGN IN page? or
go to the,YOU HAVE NO ITEMS IN YOUR SHOPPING CART page?
it wont go to the next step of shipping method then to paypal
it has worked before when sighning in as different guest but not now.

did i forget to set something in configurations or modules,is it a email mixup or what? and i did sighn up with paypal using 2 seperate accounts.
i don't know i've been looking at it for a whole day can someone please give me some insight on this.

I may be misunderstanding you, but I know that at some point, there were some problems with OSCMax v1.7 and PayPal, they just didn't get along. MSasek might be able to help you out. I just gave up and disabled paypal. Hopefully with the next release, Paypal will be functioning perfectly. By the way, when IS the next release of OSCMax???????
