Default Box Modification

Pretty dumb questions, but I really need help. Appreciate it!

Is there any good code example for a left column box of login?

How about a box just has a image and a link that's behind the img?

I followed the modification guide to try to add some boxes and change the header information. But they are not showing in the left column, or still with wrong title .

Also, how to find the related files that's associate with a box code change. I am using PhpEditor.

Million THanks.

The boxes are called via, /includes/left_column.php and /includes/right_column.php.

When looking at for example left_column.php you will see this calls files based on variables.

If you added a new box, which should be placed in /includes/boxes/ you need to make sure that you call that box.

also check out http://www.oscommerce.com/community/...ns/category,11 for contributions for infoboxes

If you used the oscdox guide, and it isnt working correctly, you missed a step. Go back and retrace what you did, and you should find your mistake.
