    Default Easypopulate aneurysm

Hello all, first let me warn you... I'm a database nooob, and a php noob.
not a good combination for this project.
    Anyway here's the deal
I modified the appearance of my OSC installation and deleted (yeah i know, dumb) the sample categories of 'hp' 'matrox' etc. I have probably 1500 products that I'd like to upload to one general category and then split them up from there (unless i can split them before hand). I am not able to upload the csv file that i have, and don't know if it is formatted anyways.

If anyone can assist me in figuring this out, and especially if anyone has a sample 'properly formatted' for column headers etc. .xls or csv file. I would appreciate it. I don't even know wehere to look to find out what my standard field names are.

I have inlcuded the error output i get from EP.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed a little light on this.

You can get your file in the Tools/Files under temp/EPFroogleEP2005May04-1010.txt

When I look in the temp dir there is nothing there.

Couple of things, make sure your temp directory is chmod 777. Also, you should download the latest version of easypopulate so you can at least get the documentation it includes - there is extensive instructions included in it.

Once you get this working, I would add your category that you're going to use through admin and then at least one product. Then, download through easypopulate and edit in Excel - this will give you the "template" for adding the rest of your products.
