New to here, need urgent helps, thanks a lot

Hi,

I am new to here. Greeting to everyone. I need some helps to build my OScommerce site. Please give a hand.

1. Is there any good starting documents for style change like moving around the box, create new boxes, link images, change layout and styles etc?

2. Is changing style has to be done through manually edit the php code file? Is there any good free editor to use?

3. I was trying to change an image. My picture is at /www/pictures/xxx.gif. So I put /pictures/xxx.gif in /www/catalog/includes/header.php but it won't show. I am wondering what I should put for absolute root path under /www?

4. My understand is /catalog/includes are for all the files that's showing on my website and /catalog/admin/ are for all the files that's in my admin files. So everything I change in one directory, I have to change in another?

5. seems like my admin panel could only edit the currently existing boxes and catalogs but could not add boxes or delete boxes for example language box that I don't need. Is this just the way?

6. How to change background color, whole theme styles etc like we could do for php forums, subsilver, etc?
