Default Text Editor

I have an existing osCommerce site and JUST got a Mac. On my Mac, I can't see the text editor for any text modification - mainpage, categories, etc. Is there a way to modify the current text editor or change completely to something that's more Mac-friendly?

Default RE: Text Editor

You mean you can't find the text editor on Mac? If so, go to the finder bar (at top). To get it you need to click on a "blank" background, not an application window. This will reveal the GO button at the top, you can then proceed as follows to open up text editor.

GO/APPLICATIONS/TEXTEDIT.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

No, I mean the text editor in osCommerce - where you go to manipulate the text on the website and switch back and forth between HTML code and straight text. More importantly, how you insert photos quickly.

The htmlArea wysiwyg editor only works for IE6 on windows. Yes you can replace the editor if you know how to hack php code. Find a html/javascript based wysiwyg editor that works with mac browsers and you should be able to add it in...
