How to get item numbers to show in the CART?

Can someone help me? I am new and I used a great demo i found but im having trouble with something. I have an item and I want the item numbers to show up in the cart, but i have different sizes of the item. for example

I have shirts to sell. I have it like this

Small Blue Item # 210-2222
Small Red Item # 210-2223
Small Green Item # 210-2224
Medium Blue Item # 210-2225
Medium Red Item # 210-2226
Medium Green Item # 210-2227
Large Blue Item # 210-2228
Large Red Item # 210-2229
Large Green Item # 210-2230

I have to enter these into quickbooks for inventory purposes as they sell, Now, I don't want to have to look up these item numbers every time i get an order for someone, I want the item to show WITH the item number inside the cart. is this possible without having to type the item number INSIDE the drop down, can it somehow be typed so that it only shows in the CART?

I hope im not a pain! can someone help??

Thank you so much; but I don't see what im looking for there.....i just want item numbers to show up in cart.....im new at this though so maybe im not sure what im looking at and i dont even know what contributions means?

You could enter the item numbers at the end of each option.

Enter the main item number to be a base number

And then enter your options like you have above. Then when they select an item. the item number will show up under each option they select.

Such as

Base item # 210

option 1 #2223
option 2 #2224
option 3 #2225

and so on.

Then when they order they will order item number 210 and the options will each have 2223. 2224 and so on.
