Default "Skinning" Categories box when using dhtml menu

Hi,
I want to start this by saying that I have read the guides and searched the forum with "menu", "dhtml menu", "categories" and a few other search terms.
Can't find any topic that covers this.

I'm having problems getting the Categories box to look like the rest of the boxes. What I want is a background image in the header of the box. It works if you set it to "default" in the admin panel, but when it's used with Coolmenu or dhtml menu, it just reads the layout from the CSS.

I've tried using categories.tpl.php in the boxes dir. But since categories_dhtml.php isn't using that file that wont work.

The problem when using CSS is that the corner_right.gif is drawn in a separate column, and also uses the table.heading css, causing the background image to appear twice in the header.

I can 'almost' get it to work as I want it by modifying the box class, and there setting the background image for the table, but then it displays everytime the class is called, and again causing the image to be displayed several times in the box. Not just the heading. I also read that it's not a good idea to start modifying the classes, as this can cause problems with future releases.

I can't provide a link at this point, but will try to get one setup if that will help. Don't know if I've explained this so that anyone will understand, but hopefully someone will.

And while I'm at it. Thanks for oscmax.
