Hi,
I have read the docs and still cant work out how to change the txt on the main page of osCommerce 2.2-MS2. I know im doing something stupid but i have NO idea

You will find that file,

in the folder: includes > languages > english > mainpage.php

I dont have that file for some reason,is the version i am using? im in store/includes/languages/english/

i have logoff.php then passwordforgotten.php nothing with mainpage between

kjelle, your info is only correct for osCMax. Note that the forum this post is in is osCommerce Modification Help, not osCMax. Pay attention to the original post as well, he states osCommerce 2.2 MS2, not osCMax.

Lee, the version you have does not have the file kjelle directed you to. It is in osCMax though.
To edit the main page of your site, edit index.php and includes/languages/english.php and includes/languages/english/index.php

It is a pain to do with osCommerce MS2. With osCMax you just need to use the admin and click on 'Define Mainpage' and use the wysiwyg editor.

Thanks, can youtell me where to download the max version, ihave looked on the main site and searched for it.
