| Does anyone know of a program/service that can scan your OSCommerce store and see if there are any security threats that have not been patched (ie.. folders/files not set to the right permissions)? Please let me know. Thanks.... |

| Hi, I never saw any program to automatically do that scan, however, when you install or if there is a security risk on your oscom installation, the script is already equipped with "error traps" prompting you what you need to do, like images folder/directory is not writable, like configure.php is writable and so on... Also, all the files are on their correct permissions once you install, otherwise you will get an error right at the top of oscom, it is usually in red stating what the error is or what needs to be done.
