Create a hyperlink in emails, how?

When "recommedeing a friend", the friend who recieves the mail will get a direct link to click on. When clicking on the link he or she will see the recommended product.

Problem: If you are sending emails with the "using html -mode" the link is no longer a hyperlink. You need to copy the link and paste it into your webbrowser to see the recommended product.

How do I solve this problem?

I beleive this is due to the fact that text mode only emails do not support hyperlinking. This isnt really a problem, it's the way it is supposed to work if im understanding what your saying correctly. Force HTML mode for emails and you will have your hyperlinks.

That's the problem, it is now already set to force HTML mode! I can make hyperlink that works, but the link to the "recommended product" is created by oscommerce by this code:

' . "\n\n" . '%s'

That code creates the link but it's not a hyperlink, you need to copy and paste... When not set to "HTML mode" it works fine, but I want it to work in the HTML-mode. Suggestions?
