Default ccgv - gift voucher Looking for installer?

Anyone out there interested in installing the ccgv module for me? My site is up and running with lots of beginner hair pulling. I am terrified of this module, there are too many files to change. I read the install instructions which said that there are 99 files to change. I am affraid of crashing what took me months to build. If there is someone interested please let me know.
thanks

**This message is not SPAM as the original poster asked specifically for a module installation service**

we do this mod all the time, takes 2.5 hours to install on oscommerce, times may very for other versions of oscommerce. We charge $35.00 per hour for php programming and charge $49.95 for module installations on most mods. Due to the extensive nature of this mod it's an hourly deal.

If interested visit our website and fill out a work request form, you can find it under the "oscommerce" nav button on the left hand side of page. Or type oscommerce-request.php on the end of our URL when you get to our site. We will have it done for you within 24 hours.

Or you could just upgrade your site to use osCmax which already has the GV mod installed. osCmax installation is easy, databse upgrade is pretty easy, and your site does not have a lot of cosmetic changes from the base template (looks like just stylesheet changes and a couple of graphics.)

One advantage to the upgrade path is that you never have to touch your exisitng site or database, so it runs merrily alongside your upgrade build. When the upgrade is finished, you just switch the index htaccess to point to the new location, and your new site goes live instantly. There are no worries if you make a mistake with the upgrade as no hacking gets done to your live site.

Another advantage is you can do it yourself at your own pace for free...

There are tons of posts here on how to do database upgrades, and if you need help, just ask

This is true and also why we use OSC-MAX exclusively for all our custom shopping cart builds for new clients. The number of modules pre-installed with osc-max makes it the best choice for new shopping cart systems. However the database conversion is not for the Mysql newbie, so it's not as easy as some would make it sound for a neophyte to just make the database translation without any hickups. Be carefull, and BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP

Ok great this sounds good, now where do I begin I am interested in this idea, and don't mind trying it, but I'm very nervous about it. Don't really know where to start at. I am really a "chicken beginner" If you seen my other post's here, you'll see that I've struggled to get where I am at now. If I do this upgrade, how does that affect the version I've acquired through my hosting company. Keep in mind they will not help me with OSC AT ALL!! Do they have to get involved?
I've added allot of modules and would hate to loose what I have done. Does any of that get changed?

I am now struggling with search engine stuff and trying to get ranked on the engines without paying Google my profits in the pay per click program. Anyways, that is a subject for another post that I will be doing soon.

well the best thing to do is look at the module list that comes pre-installed with MAX, as in our experience alot of those mods are ones customers want installed. If you have mods that come in MAX, then there not much work to migrating other than the database tables being moved.

Best thing to do is install max in a sub-directory and migrate it slowly and at your own pace. If you get stumped we are all here to help you, and if time becomes an issue there are plenty of companies including ours which can do quick work, inexpensively for you if you request it.

I recommend installing easy-populate if you have not already on your original shop, as MAX comes with this and it will make moving your products VERY easy. Unless you have very few products to begin with and its not a pain to move them anyway.

Regardless, good luck and post any questions here as both myself and Michael are watching this thread.
