Default Shooping Cart Query

I would like to do some custom pages for a web site and I need to be able to send some products to the shopping cart, if I have the session id and pass the right parameters, can I just use a url with get data or use a post? Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Keith Smith

Default RE: Shooping Cart Query

You should not need a session ID. Just go to the product listing page and right click the 'buy now' button and copy the shortcut. Then paste it to your <A> tag and remove the session ID. Now you have a direct link to your cart.

For example, click this link to see what I mean:

Michael,

Thanks for the reply, I tried that and it works perfect, if I wanted to add multiple items at one time is that possible, I tried using multiple product ids in one post but only one product was added.

Thanks

Keith

Hi, no this is not possible without custom coding. If you cannot do it in regular oscommerce, you cannot do it in a link. osCommerce does not support this if you navigate through the site. You can only add 1 product at a time.
