Default Having problems linking images to products

My website is hosted by a different company with OSCommerce loaded on their servers. How do I get the ECommerce system to link and show the images that are on my FTP site for the products in my catalog? I can use the browse option to get to the images on my hard drive but they won't upload and i can't get it to link to the images on the FTP site. Both FTP server and my webserver with ecommerce on it are both hosted by same company. Anyone able to help? hehe.

Dear Steve,
Check your PM. I will help you set up your oscommerce store and get your images to work. I had a similar problem with my website. Since I had a store with 2 store fronts I had to figure a way to share images so the locations on one store front were different (external) from the other website.

edit includes/configure.php.

where it says define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
modify it with an absolute url
eg
define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'http://www.mydomain.co.uk/catalog/images/');
