Header change and other changes

Hoping someone can help me here. I am wanting to change the header but if I modify header.php and put in my new image it doesn't display on the screen. The image is larger than the original, could it have something to do with being too high?

Also how do I change the date of birth to accept dd/mm/yy in the user sign up?

Check out the english.php to change the date format. Check PM for more info... As for the images check your PM I can help out.

For the image, just using an FTP program upload your logo, called oscommerce.gif, and overwrite it in the catalog/images directory. If you want to have it keep the name you gave it, upload yours and then just change the name in includes/header.php. The size has nothing to do with it. Hope this helps you out. And for the birthday, same as the other guy said, change it in includes/languages/english.php you can change the date format.

Thanks for everyone's advice, helped me out. The birthday change required a bit of php editing but I've got it working. So thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Can someone provide the modified english.php code which changes the date of birth to the british format dd/mm/yyyy
