quantity mod...newbie needs help

Hi there,

I've built an online fabric shop using oscommerce, and I need to sell products in increments.

Everything works well if the increment (of qty) is 1.0 or over ie- 1.25, 1.5 etc...

The problem is when the customer tries to purchase a smaller amount of fabric, which is less than 1.0, ie- 0.25, 0.50. When the customer enters anything less than 1.0 (in qty.), it says the cart is empty.

I found a cart that can handle quantities less than 1, so it can be done, could anyone help me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! I tried posing this on the regular osc forums, and people thought I was nuts.

Also I'll mention changing the product attributes isn't what I want to do here.

(*edit- more specifically: Where is the minimum value for quantity defined? What file? How do you change it?)

Okay I have now figured out how to allow less than 1.0 qty. to be purchased.

I put a note where it says qty. saying everything is in meters, so there's no confusion.

Now.....

In the admin area (in orders.php) it says the order is: 0 x "product namer here" and the same goes for account_history_info.php. Does anyone know how to fix this????

(*note* in the email it says 0.25 x "product name here")

How have you configured to allow less than 1.0 qty. to be purchased.

I want to to that too.

After changing that feature you have found another problem... Have you the solution?
