Default Manufacture image too big

Yes, I'm the newbie with the green lightbulb. Gotta start somewhere. I have this problem with my manufacuture image in the right column being larger than the column. It resizes fine in the middle section with the products in the upper right corner, but it doesn't resize in the "manufacture info" box in the right column.

Take a look: www.fateimport.com/store

1. Select "Apex'i" in Manufacture (left column) - image is resized in upper
right corner ok.
2. Choose any muffler - Apex'i image in right column "manufacture info" is
huge!

How do I fix this? Any help would be appreciated. I'm the newbie remember.

Best way would be to just resize the image to a width of 100. That's what I had to do for alot of my stuff.

And for all your products, read up on mopics or disable it. But right now it says 'click to enlarge' but nothign comes up.

There is a mopics thread stickied on the OSMAX 1.5 forum right now where alot of your questions on that can be answered

Thanks groggory. I was hoping the manufacture image solution would be easier. Darn.

I was reading like crazy last night about the thumbnails (.gif) and big image (_big.jpg) subject last night. I think I understand now. I wish there was a way to just add both the thumbnail and big image in the admin when I create a new product at the same time on the same page. Sounds like I have to upload all the "_big.jpg" images manually to the big image folder. Ah!! Is there a simpler way? Err

Its not hard though. Automate your image work. Get what I use, ACDsee powerpack 6. It rocks! And use this in conjunction with adobe imageready to optimize your images (or ACDsee has an add on program to do that.)

Also, the mopics thing is kinda broken with PHP 4.3.8. I posted a fix in the mopics tutorial. Read about it there

Groggory,
I looked at your past posted and I think I found what you were talking about. So let me get this straight. . . .

1. PHP upgrade is "broken" so mopics is no working correctly.
2. In order for my "click to enlarge" to work I need to do the following:

"remove both paths to the directory structure in the mopics control panel
-set thumbnails to .gif
-set large images to .jpg "

So are you saying to go into admin/configuration/dynamic mopics and change the thumbnail .gif and large image .jpg to be blank?

I've been adding my images under admin/create product and the images have been going straight to the "image" folder. Nothing goes into the thumbnail folder. Do I need to copy over all product images into the "thumbnail" folder and "image big" folder (according to your post you don't need to have extension _big.jpg) to have things work properly?

I looked at your link to you site and I'm excited that your pictures enlarge. That's what I want mine to do too! Thanks for you help so far. You're the only one who replied to my question. I really appreciate it.
