Dynamic Mo Pics

I am trying to set up dynamic mopics to no avail, i have followed all instructions and all 86 posts on this subject, however i am more confused now that i was before, my problem is that i get the following message :-

Warning: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 17 in /home/httpd/vhosts/trendonline.co.uk/httpdocs/templates/content/popup_image.tpl.php on line 7
/home/httpd/vhosts/trendonline.co.uk/httpdocs/images/images_big/.jpg

All i need to do is have the thumb image that goes to a large image similar to OSC2.1 which worked perfect, i am using a template bought from Algozone on the Loaded AZ script, i have tried all different combinations as described in the posts, i have uploaded all the images in both gif and jpg format in all folders that i thought it was referencing, however in the instructions you say if you don't want to use Dynamic Mopics just upload pic and set thumbnail to False, i did this and this doesn't work either. Yet with the Thumbnail set as true if i try to type the path in the field it won't allow me to update

Please Help.

is there anybody out there who has had similar problems if yes how did you fix, or am i missing something totally? If there is a fix i am willing to pay as this has got to be fixed and completed a.s.a.p. email me dave@hcs-online.co.uk
